Dr. Annabel Idle
B. Sc Chiro, M. Chiropractic
Director and Principle Chiropractor since 2008
"My philosophy is that everyone should be able to reach their full health potential so they can have the freedom to enjoy a full and rich life, untroubled by pain."
You can be confident that Annabel will take the time to understand your individual needs, and will utilise her extensive training and years of practical knowledge when designing your treatment plan.
Annabel graduated from Macquarie University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Masters of Chiropractic. She worked in various clinics in the Inner West creating health programs for both the elite or weekend athletes and families alike. At the beginning of 2008, she established herself at Stanmore Chiropractic, where she has emersed herself into the local community.
As she felt she had a solid grounding of her diagnostic and manipulative techniques, she has since continued her studies to become proficient in low-force chiropractic techniques, including the Sacro-Occipital Technique, the Activator Method and Dry Needling.
As a chiropractor, Annabel has varied professional interests inspired by her accumulated knowledge and experience. She has a keen interest to keep people active by caring for any sports injuries (joint sprain/strains) that people may get while playing weekend or professional sport, but she also enjoys caring for many of the families that regularly visit the clinic.
A strong believer in the importance of good nutrition for spinal and overall health, Annabel is well equipped to give nutrition advice as part of her patient care. On top of her already extensive training in nutrition-related subjects, Annabel regularly attends seminars on nutrition and was recently named an 'ambassador' for Bioceuticals, which is a practitioner-only supplement range.
Annabel has a passion for helping all patients achieve an optimal level of health by way of a healthy spine and fully functioning nervous system. She enjoys keeping fit herself and believes in an integrated approach to care which focuses on active rehabilitation and self-management strategies to maintain treatment benefits.
